Frank Vein
Founder & Managing Director
Frank started his career as a Corporate Banker in 1990 at Barclays Bank in London, UK, having moved to the UK at a young age in 1979.
Frank holds a BSc (Hons) Degree in Biochemistry from the University of Essex, UK, and holds the Associate Chartered Institute of Bankers, UK (ACIB) qualification.
During his time with Barclays, he worked on a variety of SMEs and large UK and Far East companies, before returning to South Africa in 1996.
In South Africa, he worked in senior banking positions for ABN AMRO, where he was part of the team that started the corporate bank, Absa Corporate Finance, Credit Agricole, and JP Morgan where, as an Executive Director, he had responsibility for the Bank’s South African corporate clients.
His last position in banking was with Absa Bank where he was Regional Head for the bank’s Business Bank outside South Africa, with direct responsibility for the Business Bank businesses in Kenya, Mozambique, Mauritius, Seychelles, and Tanzania.
He, therefore, has a wealth of experience dealing with and advising companies, small and large, from a range of different industries. He now, through his company Future Capital, trains, coaches, and advises Company Executives, Bankers, Corporate & Commercial Lawyers, and other Finance professionals who are looking to enhance and build on their existing knowledge.

Future Capital Training and Consultancy (Pty) Ltd (Future Capital) is a privately held banking and financial training and consulting company based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Through our Future Capital Academy of Banking and Finance, we provide a range of Corporate and Investment banking short courses to Banks and Non-bank financial institutions, Law Firms and Corporates.
We are also able to work in conjunction with Clients to design bespoke financial training programmes which addresses the more specific need of the institution concerned.

Although based in Johannesburg, the Future Capital Academy of Banking and Finance has no real borders and is able to deliver training programmes wherever our clients may be situated, worldwide.
